Lisa- Go for it, I just came up with it off the top of my head. I would freak if I petted one!
They are ugly and that hissing is awful. Animal control won't even come pick up dogs and cats, they are sure not going to get a possum. They just tell us to shoot them (all animals) because we are out in the boonies nad everyone drops out their animals here. I always try to give the dogs and cats away. I don't worry about the cats as much because there are cats out in the woods and barns and they do kill mice so ya know?!?!

Our neighbors caught on the other day & had animal control pick it up. Those animals just freak me out.

That is SOOOOO funny. I have a future True Story Tuesday about a possum eating cat food and my dad mistaking it (in the dark)for one of our cats, then screaming like a little girl when he discovered the correct kinda critter he was petting. May I steal your poem? I will give you credit! I promise! LOL

Oh I didn't take the picture...sorry i found one online. It was dark which made it even freakier! But I was within 2 feet of it. Not cool! I really don't mean to feed it! The cats have to eat...lol.
